Artisian Ice cream made in the Burren with fresh milk, cream, free from artificial additives, preservatives and flavourings. It is egg free, it has no gluten apart from flavours that has biscuit added. It is made in a production site that uses nuts. We source as many ingredients as we can locally and import only the best such as Mexican superior Vanilla.
Linnalla Pure Irish Ice Cream is made on the farm of Brid and Roger Fahy in the Beautiful Burren. This is a costal farm on a peninsula jutting out into Galway bay some of our fields run down to the waters edge we also have some fields in an Island (the island is called Scallons island). On warm summers days the cows love to swim in here to eat the lovely sweet grass, Our cows are shorthorn cow which are native to the Burren.
We make a high quality ice cream from the milk from our cows which is fresh and creamy. As our ice cream has the flavour of the Burren in it from the rich green grass that our cows eat,so we try to use as many ingredients as we can from the Burren.
